Marian Hossa was listed as a scratch with a minor upper-body injury; unfortunate because he is a Boston Bruins killer with 6 goals and 38 points in 45 career games against them.

Corey Crawford missed practice on Monday but head coach Joel Quenneville told the media he just had an off day. After missing Tuesday’s practice as well, Coach Q informed us that Crawford was nursing a groin injury but “should be alright” to start Thursday against Winnipeg. Well, it seems like that’s not case.

Chicago Blackhawks have signed 29-year old goaltender Ray Emery to a 1-year deal worth $600,000. ESPN’s Pierre Lebrun also confirmed that it is a one-way deal meaning Emery will be paid the same amount of salary in the NHL or AHL.
