Hossa-less Blackhawks Fall To Bruins 3-2 In Shootout
2010 Stanley Cup Champions vs 2011 Stanley Cup Champions. It was the match-up of the night on Saturday and even 65 minutes wasn’t enough to decide the winner. Marian Hossa was listed as a scratch with a minor upper-body injury; unfortunate because he is a Boston Bruins killer with 6 goals and 38 points in 45 career games against them.

Blackhawks Recall Alex Salak; Crawford Injured?
Corey Crawford missed practice on Monday but head coach Joel Quenneville told the media he just had an off day. After missing Tuesday’s practice as well, Coach Q informed us that Crawford was nursing a groin injury but “should be alright” to start Thursday against Winnipeg. Well, it seems like that’s not case.

Blackhawks Sign Ray Emery; Trim Roster To 26
Chicago Blackhawks have signed 29-year old goaltender Ray Emery to a 1-year deal worth $600,000. ESPN’s Pierre Lebrun also confirmed that it is a one-way deal meaning Emery will be paid the same amount of salary in the NHL or AHL.
